The southeast corner of Russell Square in Bloomsbury in London, England. Our hotel was located on the square, and was near the British Museum. This photo was taken in August of 1983. This print was made in July, 1984 on 8” x 10” paper.

Russell Square is a wonderful oasis. When in London for meetings at Friends House during the 90s, I often stayed at the nearby small Penn Club hotel (21 Bedford Pl.) and took many a pleasant walk in and around the square.
