Well Done !! My Wife says my darkroom is a Junk Room -BUT it's where i can get away, drink my afternoon tea and mess about with computer and outdated films !

I enjoy the way the shadows from the roof level exactly touch the roof of the lower level on the bricks, Svenedin. I used to have a Super IV, I was amazed out how good the Zeiss 50mm Tessar is.

Thank you for your kind comments. I am really pleased with this one. For once I have managed a print that isn't ruined by dust. I too am amazed by the Zeiss Tessar. It is wonderful. I do have problems using the camera. I wear spectacles and I cannot see the frame lines in the viewfinder. I am too short-sighted and astigmatic to use the camera without glasses. This means that it is very easy for me to take wonky photographs and it irritates me but it isn't the camera's fault. I also find that I can end up with odd looking angles in architectural shots and far more so than with my OM4-Ti. The viewfinder can be diopter corrected and has a thread for a correction lens but the chances of finding one for such an old camera are close to zero. Some of my pictures were spoiled by softness on one side caused by a loose pressure plate spring but I have fixed that.

Very nice print, S. Better update that "About" in apug! I liked the neg scan you did, and this photograph shows so distinctly the imperative to have at least a med yellow filter in bw shots that have sky. I hate blank white sky. don't mine skies without clouds, but at least have some tone there. Glad you did the crop you did, it looks good without that superfluous stuff on the right and and is better with the left side of building not cut off. Georgian arch alive and well in Surrey, has such appeal. You must have a "project list" that makes you dizzy.

Thanks Michael. I have now updated my profile. Yes I have too many interests! I am going to the Alps on Saturday for 10 days hiking in Austria and I hope to get some good shots. I will probably take a MF and a 35mm camera but if the weather is really bad the cameras will have to stay down the mountain. I agree about the yellow filter.
