PS- one more post and you hit the big 1000.

I can't imagine a better way to convey the enormity or beauty of this place.
How wide is an xpan frame?

Hi Vic,
I feel that I know you already, I see your posts all over the site. I believe congrats are in order with your new arrival. Thanks for your comments. The neg from the XPAN is 24 X 65 mm and you get 21 shots on a 36 shot roll. You can switch to shoot 35mm but I don't see the point. You can hand hold the camera but I generally use the tripod.

Cheers
TEX
PS - Is that your potrait or Paul Newman?

Thanks Tex; yes, the little girl is here and she's a handful. Luckily she's rendered delighted and mute by my singing, which includes "Black Velvet Band" and a serviceable "Danny Boy" in the lower register. As a NYC boy from Norwood in the Bronx, I'm more irish than many that have emerald blood in their veins.

I've been playing around with a Horizon 202 which I believe is 24mm by 58mm with a fixed, swinging 28mm lens. Interesting and clunky as opposed to elegant and precise like your xpan but a fun and fairly sharp camera for $200 all told.

"My portrait" is Lou Gehrig, the NY Yankees (and all-time greatest) 1st baseman from 1925-1939 but I can understand your guess..the eyes and the smile could easily be a young Paul N.

Be Well

Victor
