Rural houses

Deep in Somerset is a tiny little hamlet - literally a couple of houses down a narrow lane. It has a timeless quality to it, so I thought I'd use the 1/4-plate camera fitted with Instax Wide film. The sun was just beginning to rise and it was a cold, frosty morning.

I like the contrasty, moody feel. Did you do anything for the contrast post or is that just how Instax Wide looks?

Also: Who lives in such an isolated spot?

@BGriffin23 - thank you for the comment. I haven't done anything in post. Instax film is very contrasty and has a very small dynamic range. Added to this, this exposure was 1 second and there's not much written about reciprocity failure for this film... so it was a complete guess!

Who lives here? This is almost certainly a farmer's home - I've not met them yet as I've just moved into the area myself!
