Alas, heretofore, I refrained from commenting upon this example of graceful aging because I found no reason to denigrate the hair with an 'excess of bokeh'. The hair did seem worthy of definitive resolution, complementing that face but, though still disappointed, now amend my omission with a degree of reluctant praise.

She does seem to meld into a synergism of common sense and healthy, no nonsense pragmatism. I cannot marry her but I can admire her. - David Lyga.
 
Remarkable, excellent image. Raises many questions for me...for example, why do I want my own portraits to be diffused a bit.
 
Thanks for the compliments, all. David Lyga, the shallow DoF places extra attention on the eyes, which was my goal. This kind of look has gotten more popular as the amateur world has turned to smart phones and small-sensor cameras, with their naturally deep DoF.
