An overcast morning on the edge of Haweswater in the Lake District. The composition's a little awkward but I wanted to get the distant fells and the foreground packhorse bridge in the shot.
I actually like the fact that you choose an unusual viewpoint. I think you succeeded in combining it all, and there are lots of interesting features to look at in this picture. Lastly, great weather too. I'd love to go back there once with a proper camera and all the knowledge I gained since than (spent half a year studying in Bangor in 1993 and visited the Lake District as well).
Nice one. I can feel the Lake District dampness right through to my bones.
The partial toning works well - cold blacks from the Dokumol and warm highlights.
