I love this photograph for several reasons. First I like how Rosie engages the viewer with her dark eyes. You have her posed to accentuate the repeated triangles (i.e.bent legs, breasts, arms on knees, ...). Beautiful image.
It's a beautiful delicate rendition of a model study. I don't know if it is possible but if her left arm (in shadow) could be excluded, I think the pose would be even more striking.
Thanks both of you for the nice comments. I saw this image as a soft high key photograph and the comination of the Heliar lens and the Platinum produced just what I was envsioning. I was very pleased with how this image turned out.
Tex - I see that you noticed the same thing as me as soon as i printed this image. I agree that if the left arm was hidden behind the right to open up the center white triangle a little more, it would probably improve the image. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this when composing the image. I'm not interested in photoshopping this image to try to "fix this". I'll probably have another chance to work with Rosie again, and I may try re-shooting this image. Until then, I consider it a lesson learned.
