Roseberry Topping

Roseberry Topping

A very snowy trip to Roseberry Topping in April this year. I've been trying to decide how to print this image for the last three months and finally decided to try and kind of lithographic look to highlight the repeated triangles in the shape of the wall and the peak.

I reduced the exposure of the paper to increase contrast in the lith printing process and cut out a mask and burnt in the sky by 1.25 stops to achieve the effect.

I have another version where the sky has a more consistent inky blackness but I prefer this version with some texture in the sky as the lith developer was beginning to expire.

What do you think?
