Hi Lilliane: It looks really striking when you rotate it 90 degrees - too bad about the text . I played around with cropping it and like it with about 10-15% cropped from the bottom, and a little cropped from the right edge.

What are you talking about? That's my name up there! Lillian, have you tried a crop in the vertical orientation, cutting out most of the rock on the right side? For me that actually draws my eye more to the roots, rather than to the center where the graffiti is. That being said, I like the full frame as well.
I think it works as-is; the horizontal crevice in the rock and tips of the roots lead the eye to a spot that's near a magical ratio. But that said, if you took enough off the right hand side to make it an 8x10 vertical format, I think it could work very well also.
Great shot and is good like it is but if it was mine I would take about 10% from the bottom. The graffiti I think, adds to the image, and the roots are very well placed.
What makes this sing is the wonderful root and the graffiti. Consider making this square, and doing so by eliminating as much of the right side of this as would accomplish that. There isn't much of interest in the rocks; they're rather generic and not very compelling. But, the square formed from an equal left side to right side crop with top to bottom remaining equal is dynamic and interesting. But, then that would be my image....not yours. ;-) I hope you find what you're looking for!!
