Rook

A cyanotype of an infrared shot taken on 4x5. I've previously posted several versions of this image, most recently a cyanotype on watercolor paper. This particular print was made on calligraphy parchment, which allows the fine details to show up better, and seems to have a broader tonal range than the watercolor paper.

nice image also.... those brush strokes and bristles seem bold and prominent...
what brush did you use ?

I used a Galeria 1" brush. I've also gotten a similar effect using a 1" hake brush, but it tends to shed bristles onto the paper.

I just started with alt processes and in fact just coated my 1st 2 sheets of paper! Those brush strokes of yours are sort of timely and invigorating if you know what I mean  . I never paid much attention to cyanotypes until I noticed your post... again inspiring..
