Romantic Wanderer Series #5

I have recently posted the last three I've shot in this series, now I am posting the first prints I did, starting two years ago and slowly work my way back to the present.

Inspired by German Romanticism. I have been working on this project for 2 years - it is a continuous body of work and I can easily see myself devoting the rest of my life to it.


There is so much to say, yet, about man's presence in nature and/or his disassociation with it. It is also a self-portrait, a study of my own romance with nature and the emotional impact and the devastation I have felt on my travels - the sadness and the disrespect for nature. Yet, there is still wonder and amazement for some.


Throughout this project, I have taken my figures and placed them in various ecosystems. This segment was shot in the swamp waters of Florida.


I am on a quest to hunt for beauty.
