I finally paid out for my 1956-59 ROLLEIFLEX E Xenotar to be Serviced and repaired. It was a Press Photographer's camera and he scratched taking lens and broke off the 'pin' on Base-Plate latch. He sold it to a Gent who would never let me see it -- then one day his Widow gave it to me.
Really nice Pete! There's something about the images from Rolleis ('Flex and 'Cord) that's really special. I have several with both Xenar and Tessar lenses and always manage to get a few great shots from every roll.
One of the few cameras I think is worth spending the money to have serviced by a qualified repair person. Cheers!
Very nice photo Pete!! I would love to own a Rolleiflex or Rolleicord, but I cannot justify it at this time (pensioner) plus I don't shoot my Hasselblad nearly enough.
