Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

I've been plagued with silver bath issues for the last few weeks. I think I've found the issues. I was using too much acetic acid to re-acidify my baths after heavy maintenance consisiting of sunning, filtering, neutralizing, and a boil down.. After rehydrating/re-silvering back to the same volume, you then have to make sure the PH is around 4 to 5. I've been using acetic acid, but do no think it is strong enough to get me where it needs to be, I've been putting too much in and it was contaminating the bath. So I took the plunge and dumped half a batch of silver and added in freshly mixed silver and it worked flawlessly for the first two plates...Will try a few more and take some pics of some new toys..
