Another photograph in the same series as the image I posted yesterday. When making these photographs it became apparent the beach was a popular local spot for afternoon dog walkers.
I suppose it's the scan but it looks very fuzzy to me. You would love Coos Bay, Oregon. Nice treatment of the subject, would love to see a better scan. Check out my website under Galleries and then into the Coos Bay section. I have a small number of scanned negs there. I'd be interested in what you think.
Nice work Eric. I can't see significant fuzziness, although I take your point seriously. Although I'm currently scanning with a 6 year old flatbed, I'm thinking about getting a newer scanner in the next 12 months.
Ya I think a new scanner might help. I checked out your website, same issues there too. Photos are nice, but the dynamic range is kind of messed up as well. I would recommend scanning the negs and then PS'ing them for web presentation. I will check out things again on a different monitor to make sure the one I'm on right now isn't the fuzzy link in the chain.
Well I can't see a face (sorry Leon!) At my first glance I almost though I was looking at an enginering close-up with 2 meshing gears (is there a psychiatrist in the house?). Noce picture, Tom. I really loike youer rock studies. It was good to meet you at the weekend BTW.
