A good IR shot always makes me ask the same question. Is this brilliant sunlight or brilliant moonlight? It's clearly the real world but other-worldly.That's its fascination for me
This is a great shot, good eye and excellent use of the medium, just bloody wonderful!
My question is; The absolute lack of "IR affect" on the far off vegetation on the upper right.
Was it in shadows because of a cloud?
With the red filter it should have become less dark.
. . Thanks, some factors in this instance were.. low angle raking light, clean crisp air, scene oriented ±90 degrees to the sun for great shadow-highlight contrast and strong polarization, simple uncluttered composition... and being there...
