River Thames London

From the Jubilee Bridge ; You can see 'Waterloo Bridge' known as 'The Ladies' Bridge' as it was built from Cement made by Women as all the men were at war. Also, dome of St Pauls' Cathedral and tall buildings of the Financial area . Just a 'TOURIST Shot' really but I was a Tourist in my own country

Fascinating history there. I have visions of groups of women shoveling sand, screenings and cement into individual concrete mixers...

If ever I visit London again, I'll try and remember to look this bridge up.

Very good idea to act like a tourist in your own place, I do the same in Melbourne sometimes; it's a wonderful way to keep views of your own home fresh.

Mick.
