The original neg has a lot more of the overhanging branch which in retrospect detract from the image IMO. Personally I feel it is now quite strong.

Phil, I like the way the reflections get progressively more distorted as your eyes move from left to lower right. Have you considered printing the mid and highlight tones a bit lighter, while keeping the strong blacks, to create an even more graphic feel to the image?
