I like this, the way the water flows on to the back..strange though it pulls me in from the front of the image and takes me back, rather than left to right. Can find nothing about the image that bothers me at all, the scan apears to give it a silk screen look, but otherwise I think this is very nice. Just got some pyrocat-hd in and plan to use it with FP4+ - any info on your development time....
 
For those interested this is the Monsal Head viaduct over the River Wye in the Derbyshire Dales, FEB 2004

This was done on FP4 in pyrocat 1:1:100 for 8 mins @20c. The silkscreen effect is not on the original but from the poor scan. Can't get rid of it

a very atmosferic picture. the bridge at the backround - it is a bridge, isn't it? - is amazing. Have you done somtehing with scan in Photoshop?

No I haven't done the PS thing, unfortunately the scan came out like that and after the 4th attempt I gave up but decided to post it any way. The original has continuous tone with no mottling or streaking. My excuse is that I am using a crappy old scanner which gives good results on some prints but lots of hassles on others.
The bridge is an old railway bridge called the Monsal Head viaduct. It now forms part of a hiking trail and is for pedestrians only
