Excellent, looks more like England than Spain :D

I opted for a 75mm f8 Super Angulon for my 6x17 Gaoersi, I tried a 90mm but it wasn't the feel I wanted. After a few years looking I finally found a Center filter at a good price £30 (approx 35 euros) a couple of weeks ago.

My own take on lenses for 6x12 to 6x17 is basically a standard lens for 6x6 is 75mm to 80mm, so with a panoramic camera there's two parameters the vertical aspect where a 75mm lens is normal, and then the horizontal aspect where 75mm is a quite wide angle for 6x17 and more moderate for 6x12, my own camera can be set for 6x17, 6x15 or 6x12, although I've only used it for 6x17.

I didn't consider using a 65mm f8 Super Angulon as my experience with 5x4 is fall of and vignetting are an issue, it's a lens I've used sparingly in the past 30+ years and since buying a second 75mm an f5.5 Super Angulon around 4 years ago not at all though I still carry it sometimes.

Looking at the specs again, I wonder if a 90mm on a mixed format 'Malefic' might be a better option and would also be useable wide angle on my Walker Titan SF, possibly the Grandagon N 90mm f/6.8 or Super Angulon 90mm f5.6 ...

These wide angle lenses 75mm or 90mm are not really suitable for swapping back and forth between lens boards/lens cones if you've ever unscrewed the rear elements to mount the shutter you'd realise there's a higher risk of potential damage to the glass.

My ideal 6x17 camera would accept Wista/Linhof style lens boards and use a ground glass screen bellows focussing, and have interchangeable backs to allow use of 7x5 or 5x4 DDS as well.

@Ian Grant
This is the Jarama river. The source of this river is close to this spot. My home is quite close of one of the main mountain ranges of Spain (> 2.000m).
Of course is not England :smile:
