Rimlighting

Rimlighting

This was done with two 150W photofloods. The R/H one pointing to the ceiling, the L/H one pointing to the rear wall. I asked her to turn her head towards the camera until the rimlighting effect was what I wished for.

This was taken in the models flat whilst she sat on her dining table, the only place where the lights, white walls & ceiling were able to work.

Unfortunately the image on the screen, is a pale imitation of the real thing sitting alongside the keyboard.

The lighting, when used this way, worked perfectly to show the features of her face to great advantage. This was the best frame from the session.
