Rifle Mountain

Autumn colors as seen by velvia and cibachrome in Rifle Mountain. A change of pace playing with ciba for a while.
11x14 cpm1m paper. Scan doesn't do the over the top "pop" that the print has justice, nothing subtle about this print:)
I'm getting a kick out of this ciba stuff

I didn't know ciba was still available ... did you mask the negative? ....from my way long ago experience Ciachrome does yellows and red! and this on seems to be telling that story ..... wow!

Yes Miles, I masked the tranny. The colors are surreal to my eyes as I usually work b/w

Just lovely, colours "over the top" (in a positive way), and not to forget: a lovely scene, great composition.

Part of it is what you say, Erik: if you're used to B&W, colour is surreal, and these certainly are!
