Collodion looks so nice. The metal looks very metallic and the grips softer. What's the background, rabbit fur? Nice shot.

Thanks! There is something really appealing about the way collodion renders metal... I'm still only breaking the surface of it's potential, but am enjoying myself now that I can start to get decent images. The hardest part for me is the varnishing stage.... Where it can all go tremendously wrong and you end up trashing the plate! The background is a grey/green fleece blanket.
