Well done Rob, beautiful photograph of an interesting subject, that boat looks how I feel, well knackered.

Cars in this condition don't make good photos. Boats do. Is it because they are wooden i.e. has something to do with not being machinery?

I am not sure but I know what I like and this fits the bill. Warmtone adds to the print

Agree with the others that this hangs together really well, even although the bits and pieces surrounding the boat could have made it too cluttered. It may look knackered, but there's a challenge in there for someone!

I love the subject and the print.

But I will have to differ with pentaxuser - Paige Ireland, who shows and sells a lot around DC, has done some wonderful color work with abandoned '50s cars found in fields. The pics are often framed using salvaged wood or window frames, which adds to the effect. I would also suggest that the semi-abandoned fiberglass boats I see all too often around the marina are not nearly as picturesque.

I love the werid tones you're getting with our exhausted developer there Rob - almost looks like lith on my screen ... and the feel suits the subject well.

I have to agree with leon, it really does work well Rob.

The photograph says it all about the location. Superb

regards
