I think the black door on the left and the white part above adds nothing to the picture so a tighter crop with only the men in the frame might be better.

I agree with Marc. I think this is a really stong piece, but it's lost in the distractions of the tires and the dark doorway. When I cover those things up, I start noticing things.... like the yonger man is standing on a tire iron!

Well, I on the other hand love the way the door and window frames repeat the borders of the photograph. I think also that they give a hint of the environment.
