Reno. King of the dog park

Reno. King of the dog park

At least he thinks he is.
Nice portrait of a happy dog.

He looks to be a great King. As an old teacher of mine said: "It ought to be illegal to keep dogs". He went on to explain. "Every 15 years at best you go through the pain of losing a member of the family. They are always pleased to see you. They ask for nothing and never criticise. The rest of my family are great but I still can't say that about the wife and kids!

I dare not show my Labrador this photo! He gives me enough grief as it is...

Great image though.

I lost my last dog a couple of years ago. A shepard/collie mix from the pound that I had the pleasure of spending 18 wonderful years with. I didn't think I would be ready to adopt again, but after about year passed I stopped by the pound and saw Reno 12 weeks and 7 pounds. A year and a half later I could'nt imagine life without him. The hurt is bad when you lose them but the joy they bring you far outweighs it.
