Some dancers that I liked watching. The Renaissance Festival really is a neat place.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like!
I've been moving to a new house, and am at least able to use my scanner again. But I am bored out of my skull with it and should very much like my darkroom back! :)
Nice one, Thomas. I haven't been to one of these festivals in some time. (And I recently moved, and it's been a bummer without a darkroom, but I'm pleased to say we've begun construction of a new rocking darkroom!!)
Thanks, Suzanne! Wow, that is great news. I hope it turns out like everything you wish for it to be. If I remember correctly, it was even a separate building? I have a darkroom in the basement of the new house, but I'm modifying it to include an adjacent room, for more space. Currently there is a huge dust and grime problem, so I'm slowly cleaning it up to meet my lab standards...
This is a great moment you captured. The configuration of the group and their expressions, is just right. They look happy and naturally... The guy on the right clapping his hands and that ends the frame perfectly, finishes it all off.
Thanks, guys!
mgb74 - I try not to restrict myself by camera choice, so sometimes I will crop a rectangular picture to square or any other format. This just felt right to crop square. I confess, though, that when I print I usually print either a 1" border around the picture on the paper, or a square leaving 1" on either side, and then place the square top weighted.
