Remembrance Day

Touching image, Colin. I visited the cenotaph here in Coquitlam, as I do every November 11th. I love at the end when everyone places their poppies on the memorial. Cheers!

It is quite moving. I find once you remove any and all politics, it becomes about what I think it always was meant to be: respecting and honouring young lives cut short for awful reasons. The weather here was really cold (even for this part of the world) and it was heartening to see how many people came out anyway.
