Red squirrels

These images are part of a project that I'm doing myself, this is in a wood a couple of miles down the road from my home, I'm trying to build up a collection of images of red squirrels before the grey takes over.

All three are really good. I like the snow on this one's nose. I used to see lots of reds when I lived in Sweden, and in France, but never here.

Nice.

We have red squirrels on the Isle of Wight where I live. There is no danger of greys taking over as we don't have any and there is a four mile stretch of water between us and the mainland where all the grey squirrels live.

I like your use of the panoramic format. Something I would not have considered for this type of subject.

Steve.

Thanks guys, I went for the pano crop because I wanted to show these guys in their enviornment and I thought it worked well, these are two different squirrels, they were within yards of each other but didn't mix, they only seem to during the breeding season, check out the colour of the tails one is jet black base to tip and the other is a little lighter.
