Red Rock Playground

Martin and I stopped here to explore this all but abandoned playground. Our photo group, Calgary Large Format Users Group, had spent the weekend at Manyberries, AB staying at a wonderful B&B made out of a converted Train Station. Wonderful people run the place. The wind was up most of the weekend so did mostly minicam shooting. Felt I had to excite at least a couple of LF sheets since it was suppose to be a LF outing.

This is a great photo, Eric! I love the massive scale of it and the emphasis you put on the huge sky! Gorgeous!

"The big empty" it may be, but someone has to show us that, and that is what you have suceeded in doing with this shot. What a great sky !

cheers

Eric, this is really cool! So many elements of loneliness - and that big sky to top it off... Nicely done!

I love it, but boy does it make me miss home ... Saskatchewan.
Beautifully composed.
I've a image of an empty school ground, closed up school, this brings back the memory.
