This is a late bloomer of my last trip to Italy 2 years ago, at the time my father passed.
I remember I had seen this scene one day, but the light wasn't right. I made it a point to go back the day after, which I did, only to discover that the owner was there to unload stuff. Patience rewarded me and after a pleasant chat with the man I set up my camera and took a few images.
It happens sometime that I find hard to transmit the emotion evoked by the scene in the print.
After three trials I finally got to what I wanted.

Just wonderful, Domenico. I've found the memories of the experiences gained while making exposures are as valuable as the resulting prints. It seems you have two treasures here. All the best. Shawn
