'Nothing photographically intellegent to say. 'Love the shot also. Its has held my gaze & attention for 5 min alternating between drinking in the aesthetics/composition (came to love the roots running off frame in the foreground) to the tones of the print. I sure don't get that contrast from my hp5/hc110 shots. The requisite trip through 'more images...' was certainly a treat also. 'Cecropia peltata' deserves all the praise & hopefully wide visibility.
Thank you HHS for your comment ! I have had a 16" x 20" print of this image framed on the wall for nearly 20 years, and never get bored of it. It has so much to look at, that I still discover details I had 't seen. I expose landscape images on medium format film for 11" x 14" or larger prints, that is, somewhat overexposed and overdeveloped. That gives me an appropriate contrast for the prints. This image was scanned from a 11" x 14" print.
