Rainy Day

This is one of the first exposure made with my new (to me) Crown Graphic. It's handheld and I did not record exposure. I would love to know what ya'll think of the image. Thank you!

I like it a lot. The half car rushing out of the frame keeps pulling my eye out, too, but that could be cropped off.

Is that really a helicopter smashed into the wall immediately to the right of the water? It's certainly an interesting shape that makes me pause to consider what, exactly, I'm seeing.

Thank you for your comment, Rich. Your perspective is invaluable.

The helicopter is actually stenciled onto the wall of the building. Cool, isn't it?

This is an interesting wall, I see you've attemped to emphasize the water falling indicating that this is the centre of interest which I think is a good idea. Remember, highlights catch the eye and the last place you need a highlight is in or near a corner!. Had I taken this shot I would have cut out 40 percent of the image from the left side which would concentrate the attention on the water and helecopter.
This would loose the distracting car and the uninteresting detail on the wall.
That's only my opinion, I'ts a well seen shot and worth another attempt. Well done.

PS. I have only just subscribed and as yet have not posted any images, I will be soon, so you all can have a go at them!.

I also think that the image would benefit from loosing the car but you would have to be careful that it did not then appear flat.
