I set the light meter for 2000 which worked out at f5.6@250th. I usually vary from frame to frame however. I developed for 1600 but with the temperature 21C. My mother and her generation (born in the 1920's) would not go out the door without a headscarf on. The last time I ventured along to Portie beach it was near freezing.

Thanks for the info on film speed and dev temp. Oh and the Portie temp. Did you complain about the temperature to an auld wifie? If so she probably said witheringly "If it's good enough for Rebus to eat a black pudding supper for his breakfast on a bench here, it's good enough for you
