This looks great I love it, the image is well composed and the texture you have obtained by using Arches paper looks really adds to the image. The bromoil process sounds intesresting, is it difficult/expensive?
Thanks! Not very expensive. There's a very steep initial learning curve and then the sailing is fairly smooth. It's slow and requires patience. Very addictive. The Bromoil Circle of Great Britain conducts a workshop every spring. Contact: maija.mcdougal@btopenworld.com -- she's President of the Circle, lives in Malvern and could put you in touch to someone near you that works in the bromoil process. Cheers, Gene
Difficult? For some it's impossible. Others pick it up immediately. This is a tough question to answer I'm afraid. There's a steep initial learning curve and then it levels out. Bromoil is a marriage of photography, painting and printmaking. It's time consuming and addictive. Requires patience, practice and perseverance. It's not very expensive - except in time. However it pays dividends of enjoyment! Cheers, Gene
