Rainy Day Island No 2 improved

Rainy Day Island No 2 improved

Same picture as before but following your hints a little bit improved.
I reduced the overall contrast half a grade and shortened the exposure by 1/3. Then the island got a burn in with grade 5. Thus I hoped to seperate the island from the background. I think the overall exposure can be even shorter. What do you think?

My belief is that you have reached your goal. Please, do not increase contrast on the background as this will very harmful to aerial perspective that give special charm to what I am seeing upon the screen.

This is an improvement on your original shot, but I also feel you have got the best out of it. Prove us wrong and while you are doing that make sure to burn in the top left hand corner.
Good luck with your endeavors.

cheers
TEX

Yes, this is what I pictured. I get a scanning problem in the upper left hand corner. maybe a slight burnning in may help but now we are picking on you
