Rainy Day in Jackson Square

Bromoil print. New Orleans' street scene. A bit too photographic for my liking, but this is where the matrix led me. Black litho ink with a bit of blue mixed in. Kentmere Fineprint semi-matt paper. Scan of original bromoil print.
I think I know what you mean but it still looks different and has that "Old Days" look. The scene helps of course. I'd put this on the wall but probably wouldn't bother if it was a straight print.

Reminds me of prints in an old pub( bar) in my town of Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee. If you ever make it across to the U.K. there are some great shots in pubs in my neck of the woods of "the way we were"
