I asked about those squares in your graveyard How large have you happily printed it? Fine photo. Have to ask: have you played with NIK?

Oh man, you had to include the word ‘happily’ eh? 5x7 inches is as large as I’ve liked with a phone camera. Sorry, I am not familiar with NIK. To me digital photography meant only more time in front of a computer screen so there was no way I was going to get involved. Thus I really know nothing about it or the related software. With the advent of the iPhone 7 I have been able to have plenty of fun while achieving reasonable results without needing to sit in front of a screen and adjusting levels, etc. So that’s where I’m coming from. I know there is a world of magic out there in digiland but I still get my jollies catching secret whiffs of fixer on my fingertips .

Jon, you don't have to "adjust levels" to organize, "process", and print with several useful alternatives to straight-up Photoshop.

HOWEVER my advice is just to keep doing whatever you've been doing untill you start making iPhone films or whatever. Ignore NIK (which I love).

I guess I should taste the digital waters and leave behind my prejudices born back in the dark ages. Those early dayswere traumatic for us fogies.
