Rainbow Bridge Promanade

Rainbow Bridge Promanade

Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo, Japan. Was out spending the day testing out my new Cooke XVa and a Wehman 8x10. This spot is one of the most popular date spots in Japan, because of the spectacular night views of Tokyo and Odaiba. This was taken from on the the two walkways that go over the bridge, known as the Rainbow Promanade. Dark room is currently at near freezing temps, so negative scan until it warms up. I think this image could have used a little more exposure.

Thanks for looking.

Nice image, though you are probably right about the exposure as some detail in the water would lift the image somewhat.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I am heading back there in a couple of weeks, I am going to try to reshoot the scene with a slightly longer exposure.

g'day coriana

nice image but as you realize it needs more exposure

i'd suggest making the image much earlier when there is still some light in the sky

most 'good' night shots are not actually taken at night but just after sunset

Oh, this is simply spectacular. Absolutely stunning! The rich blacks and the incredible sharpess! This is one of my favorite pictures I have seen on APUG.

What wonderful work!
