Rain, Lake Julia

4x5 silver contact print

I did a bit of experimenting with photography during rain two winters ago but never printed anything until Sunday.

There are some tennis nets in the background that add a nice touch on the print but are mostly lost in the scan...

well seen and composed Shawn ... I like the creaminess of tonality !

Thanks, Miles. The foreground sidewalk and foot prints in the ice have a luminance about them that makes me want to continue exposing film in the rain.
