Big on the screen it looks like crap... but when I click on it for the smaller, full view, it looks a bit better...

Much better - gives a much better sense of how it feels to be "in" forests like that.
And the textures that are inherent in the Tri-colour gum process seem perfectly suited.
Andrew, I have a feeling that you and I could together fill the Photrio galleries with trees!

For the purpose of the upload only, it might work better in the full view if the borders were cropped out.

@NedL when I click on the image, it goes to a slightly smaller version. Does that improve things?

Yes, a lot. I was agreeing with Matt that in the smaller "portfolio view", it might look better with the borders cropped since it is against a black background and the border is green. I know I would get frustrated if I was trying to scan or photograph this print!

Its very pretty and has a great presence to it.
What was the original format size and what size is the print?
