First print in months! It was a cold, dreary day. I was there just at the right time I guess. You cannot see these power poles (all of them) in normal weather. The mountains behind them prohibit a good view as all the colors blend into one soup of tannish gray. Then on this day the rain clouds came down and touched the powerpoles. As I watched, they descended down the powerpoles slowly. Suddenly the moment was right, and I snapped this shot.
How intuitive of you David! Yeah these are a few miles from my property. I have a few others to share soon as I get them extracted from PDF's made by the UPS Store. This started as an exercise in staying in touch with my photography genes while I spend the most of my time improving the land and whatnot. But I sure am glad I did that exercise because now I have shot two rolls of 120 and a fist full of 4x5's in a very short period of time (one week) thinking photography was still on hold, and I'm finding myself capable of multi-tasking to a degree.
