Shawn, I looked at this many times during the course of the day. I think it's a fantastic image, and like others have noted, the composition is great. Just feels right, strikes a good chord. Nice work!

Thom, it just felt right to me, too. It seems that my best photographs are made when I'm able to satisfy my feelings about an image (and a place or experience) without over analyzing the composition... more often than not where to stand and where to put the edges is felt as much as decided. It's a balance I'm becoming more comfortable with the longer I photograph. Best. Shawn
