A good colour palette. I never had a lot of success with Konica but that may have been down to me. He really looks the part. If it's 1940 he last saw action in a Sopwith and is nearly as old as the guy in France looking at the White Cliffs through binoculars and expecting to spend time in London before the weather turns too autumnal
 
I understand what you mean about his 'age' -- maybe he met Biggles as HE flew a Sopwith Camel ----
