Actually, this is nothing but a grain test. I found some 35mm Aerecon Plus X on the bay and thought I'd check for film base plus fog. It's stunning film. Clean as a whistle. Since I had no set development time I thought I'd be crazy and try a few new things. This is Dektol, 1 gram / 100ml / 1shot. That's roughly 1:10. I simply aggitated for 1 minute continuous then let stand for the remainder of 32 minutes.

I got lucky, there's no other explanation. Grain is zilch which is saying something for Plus X. Gamma is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

Maybe I should hit the slots tonight.

Hi jim, dektol !! 32mins!!! looks good, you might be starting some thing here. 1 gram of the Kodak package powder? call it dekslow, or plus-tol.

Jim, cool shot! I've found, in the past, when I used Plus-X for about a year as a staple film, that its grain seems to vastly diminish when you process with standing development techniques.
I used Rodinal at 1+100 for 30 minutes where I agitate every 5 minutes (one inversion) and I got very fine grain with that combination. Your example certainly looks good from here.
