Racetrack Goat

It's not unusual to see companion animals, usually goats, around racehorses, but I've never seen a ram on the backside, especially not chained the way this one was.

Hello Ellen Rennard,
Your ongoing race track series really appeals to me; and being kind of "old school", one particular thing I like is the apparent image quality--tonality--which comes across on my screen.
I have seen the same kind of thing, from larger larger format, with Brummelisa, who also uses Tri-X and D-76.
Is there something about this combo that just SCANS better; is the tonality of ther prints just so much greater than the soot and whitewash one often sees nowadays?

I don't know -- I think there are many good film/developer/paper combinations, it just depends on what you're going for. I've always liked Tri-X, and it seems to like D-76. In this project, I want an "old school" look I suppose -- I think Brummelisa might be using a different paper, warmer, one I want to try. I'm glad you like the series.

I guess it is the "old school" look that appeals to a dinosaur like meself.
