Raccoon Crossing

Shot after a late March snowfall, 1997. This was actually shot late morning with a glaring sun. The negative was given n-2 development to give the impression of enveloping light and to control the extreme contrasts I was confronted with.

Nice, brings back memories of living in Illinois and getting up to run the trap lines in the early morning during the winter, and also of going rabbit hunting with my dad.

I'm a sucker for any photograph of the landscape with snow. Beautifully done. I can see texture in the foreground snow. Not an easy task. I love it.

Love the water....dark and ccccold!

Looks so deceptively simple - snow in B&W, but we all know that this is in fact a heck of a job well done! Beautiful photo!

Bruce this is incredible. Very crisp, and cold. Feel free to send some snow my way, it gets a tad hot in the Australian summers.
