Raby Castle Salt Prints

The beginings of a body of work exploring the woods and park land of a local Castle. All images where taken with an MPP Mark III on Fomapan 100 5X4 film. This was developed in ID-11. I then contact printed on salted paper

Water colour paper soacked in soduim chloride then sensitized with silver nitrate
being a sucker for doors and windows, i like this one in particular.... kind of wish i could see more of what appears to be an attractive ceiling, but the picture is really more about the open door and the dark door, which is great
