Queen West Alleys #2

Another taken with my 'Canera' which is regular size paint can with six pinhole apertures spaced evenly. A smaller cylinder is fastened to the centre of the interior which the medium format film wraps around (emulsion face out) . I expose one aperture at a time and then walk a certain distance, turn the camera to the next aperture. I like the way the images overlap and the distortion caused by the curve of the film plane.

Really interesting work and fun to view too!

How did you make your pinholes?

Fun image...lots of potential...wonder how this would work with a subject human wandering in the image...perhaps faster film or larger pinholes to shorten exposures...
