Quebec at Night

Shot with Rolleiflex 2.8D. Shot on Fuji 160C
Absolutely glowing light quality on the wall and tower - contrasts wonderfully with the otherwise dark surroundings. Very nicely done!

I like the quiet deserted nature of the scene and the contrast between the blue /purple light in the foreground and the warm red light of the solitary street lamp.

Reminds me of scenes I came across in Prague and is nothing like I had imagined the "new world" of Quebec to be like.

Thank you for your comments, I'm glad to know the freezing temperatures were worth it!

Quebec has a mystique about it that can only be described as its own; it has attributes of Old World and attributes of New World, but doesn't really resemble either.
