Scanned print, matched as best I can to the print. The JPEG tones look about right in Chrome on a Mac.

Nice light and composition. On my Mac it has a very effective slight warmth to the blacks that adds a lot. And the 35mm aspect ratio helps too. But basically, you've demonstrated that Dorothea Lange was right: the most important tool is the eye. Well seen, as they say...
